2008 Nebraska Circular EN
Nebraska Income Tax Withholding
on or after January 1, 2008

The Department is NOT issuing a 2010 Nebraska Circular EN.

The “special withholding rate” continues the same as last year at 1.5%. All other aspects of the previously issued January 1, 2008 changes, including rates and brackets, remain the same.

Employers using the wage bracket tables may continue to use the shaded/non-shaded areas of the 2008 tables as a general guide for determining if the special withholding procedures should be used.

In addition, there are new required special withholding procedures.
