Motor Fuels Electronic Filing
All motor fuel tax returns must be filed electronically. You may:
- Create your own software conforming to the mapping instructions contained in our Software Guide; or
- Purchase pre-written software from a commercial vendor.

Online filing is provided for those taxpayers filing consumer's use, compressed fuels, or carrier reports. See Online Filing.
Everyone whose total motor fuel tax payments exceed $5,000 per calendar year must remit their motor fuel tax payments via electronic funds transfer (EFT). For detailed information, go to Electronic Payments.
