CHARITABLE GAMING ACTIVITY
OCTOBER 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2006

LINCOLN — The Nebraska Department of Revenue Charitable Gaming Division reports that total dollars wagered on charitable gaming activities for the period October 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006 were $64,813,001, which is a 7.3% increase as compared to the previous quarter when $60,411,079 was wagered. The amount wagered for the quarter ending December 31, 2006 is 3.4% more than the amount wagered for the same period in 2005 ($62,710,395).

County/city lottery (keno), the highest grossing charitable gaming activity, experienced an increase of 11% from the previous quarter with gross wagering of $49,975,831 as compared to $45,042,437. The amount wagered on keno for the period October 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006 was 7.4% more than the amount wagered for the same period in 2005. Pickle card gross proceeds were $9,949,970 for the quarter. This is a 6.2% decrease from the previous quarter and 10.6 % less than the same quarter in 2005. Bingo gross receipts for the quarter were $3,166,346 which is 2.5% more than the previous quarter but 7.6% less than the same quarter in 2005. Lottery/raffle gross proceeds were $1,721,304 which is 2.7% more than the previous quarter and 7.2% more than the gross proceeds for the same quarter in 2005.

Combined charitable gaming activities generated taxes, license, and registration fees of $1,437,413 for this reporting period. Of that amount, license and registration fees were $66,445.
