GENERAL FUND RECEIPTS — SEPTEMBER 2011
LINCOLN — September Gross Receipts: Tax Commissioner Doug Ewald reported Tuesday that gross General Fund receipts for September were $396.1 million, which is 1.1% above the certified forecast of $391.6 million.

| • Gross Individual Income: | 0.6% below forecast |
| • Gross Corporate Income: | 1.8% above forecast |
| • Gross Miscellaneous: | 12.8% above forecast |
September Tax Refunds: Tax refunds for September were $43.9 million, which is 0.8% above the certified forecast of $43.5 million.
September Net Receipts: Net receipts for September were $352.2 million, which is 1.2% above the certified forecast of $348.1 million.

| • Net Individual Income: | 0.6% below forecast |
| • Net Corporate Income: | 5.1% above forecast |
| • Net Miscellaneous: | 12.8% above forecast |
Fiscal Year Net Receipts: Net General Fund receipts for fiscal year 2011-2012 were $880.7 million, which is 0.9% below the certified forecast of $888.5 million.

| • Net Individual Income: | 2.1% below forecast |
| • Net Corporate Income: | 24.1% above forecast |
| • Net Miscellaneous: | 3.3% above forecast |
The comparisons in this report are based on the revised forecast made by the Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board on April 28, 2011. This forecast was adjusted for legislation passed in 2011, divided into monthly estimates and certified to the Clerk of the Legislature by the Tax Commissioner and Legislative Fiscal Analyst on July 12, 2011.
