Notification to Permitholders of Changes in Local Option Sales and Use Tax Rates (updated 6/3/2009) Effective October 1, 2009, the city of Red Cloud (74-411) will increase its city sales and use tax rate of one percent (1.0%) to one and one-half percent (1.5%). Red Cloud has complied with the notification requirements established under the Local Option Sales and Use Tax Regulations. The Department has sent written acknowledgments to the city clerks acknowledging compliance with these requirements and the effective date of the tax. |

Notification to Permitholders of Changes in Local Option Sales and Use Tax Rates (updated 12/2/2008) Effective April 1, 2009, the cities of Chambers (177-097), Chester (178-100), Crofton (179-126), Daykin (180-140), Doniphan (181-151), Mullen (183-334), and West Point (184-519) each implemented a new city sales and use tax rate of one percent (1.0%). Also effective April 1, 2009, the cities of Benkelman (176-050) and Monroe (182-330) implemented a new city sales and use tax rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%). |
